Overview
This tour will take you to Tanzania to visit Segerenti National Park one of the Africa’s finest conservation areas to encounter a number great mammals, reptiles, bird species and scrubs plus visiting the Masai community. Serengeti National Park, in northern Tanzania, is famous for its enormous yearly migration of wildebeest and zebra and other mammals. Looking for fresh pasture, the herds transfer north from their breeding grounds in the grassy southern plains. Many cross the swampy western corridor’s crocodile-infested Grumeti River. Others turn northeast to the Lobo Hills, home to black eagles. Black rhinos inhabit the granite outcrops of the Moru Kopjes. On this African safari get expect to encounter several wildlife species including the African “big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration, several Antelope species and many predators.

Today wake up very early in the morning to be served breakfast, meet our company representative at the you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Arusha for wildlife Safari experience. This hotel lobby to have all your travel bags packed in the vehicle and be transferred to Zanzibar airport to fly to Tanzania mainland for unforgettable wildlife safari that will take you to the most visited destination, including the Serengeti National Park, the most famous Africa’s Safari destination where you can witness the famed great wildebeest Migration from July to October crossing the Mara River and from January to March for calving, and may to June for mating. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport / Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met by our representative, your safari guide to meet and greet, brief you shortly about your 5 days wildlife safari. Thereafter the briefing, start your safari with a road trip to Tarangire National Park which is located in distance of about 2hrs from city of Arusha. This is the fifth largest park in Tanzania and characterized by the large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of their highlighted features of Tarangire, the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the blood of the park providing water for wildlife. On arrival at the park, check in at your booked lodge to refresh, have lunch, spend some time at your leisure and later drive to the park for an evening game drive safari to search for the abundance of wildlife species that are found in this park both animals and birds. During your game drive safari, you will see animals such as wildebeest, zebra, common eland, hartebeest, gazelle, buffalo and elephant – of which there are more than you can imagine. Lion are quite easily spotted at this time, as well. After terrific experience of game viewing, you will drive to check in the service of our accommodation, Dinner and overnight stay.

This day starts with an early breakfast at your lodge, check out of your lodge and then drive to the park for an amazing early game viewing safari as you drive around the baobab trees and savannah trees of Tarangire national park. During your game drive viewing safari, expect to see a variety of animals since they are always very active during the morning hours, such as leopards, wildebeest, zebras, elephants, several antelope species, lions, and others. After the game viewing, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. The drive to Serengeti National Park will take approximately 5 hours. Although the drive is long, it is extraordinary with spectacular scenery and unique. You will make a quick stop at the rim for an out-of-this-world view of Ngorongoro crater. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you explore well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains". The park has 6,900 sq. km (18000 sq.km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distance. The central part of the park, known as the Seronera circuit, is very rich in wildlife habitat, with the Seronera river providing water for the animals and birds. You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of predators. You may have the chance to spot lean cheetahs, shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion. On arrival at the park, check in at your booked lodge an overnight.

Early morning game drive in the Serengeti plains trying to capture what was missed on yesterday’s drive. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun sets fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal. Alternatively, you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert. Have a short break to have breakfast and then proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Besides the Wildebeests the park habits a lot of other wildlife like the big game animals such as Lions, Elephants, giraffes, Zebras, cheetahs, thomson’s gazelles among others. After return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Walk up very early in the morning to be served breakfast, drive to the park go for your morning game drive and this will be to look out for the big predators of the park since morning hours are their prime hunting time. After your morning game drive, have lunch and then proceed to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha or Kilimanjaro international airport to prepare for your return flight back home. This will be end of your 5-Days best of Tanzania wildlife safari.
