ITINERARY FOR 10 DAYS UGANDA HOONEYMOON SAFARI
Day
1; Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
On the first day of the 10-day Uganda
honeymoon safari, you will be picked up from your Kampala or Entebbe hotel
early in the morning and taken on a lengthy but fascinating drive that will
pass by many stunning sights. You will stop at the Equator to take a few lovely
photos together, and then you will have lunch on the way through Uganda’s
wilderness, which is home to the country’s endangered mountain gorillas.
As soon as you arrive at Bwindi
Impenetrable National Park, you can check into your reserved lodge, eat dinner,
and spend the night there while taking in the breathtaking views of the hills,
farmlands, and lovely people.

Day
2; Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Imagine what it would be like to go
gorilla trekking with a loved one and get up close and personal with an
endangered mountain gorilla. You will be taken to the pack headquarters on the
second day of the safari, receive a briefing, hire porters, and begin your
mountain gorilla hike in the uninhabited Bwindi National Park.
The trip gives you four hours to spend
with gorillas in their natural environments, and you will spend an entire hour
observing them. Following your gorilla hike, you will head back to your resort
to recover and freshen up before dinner.

3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
After a leisurely breakfast, depart
from the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, another stunning
savanna park with rare and unusual tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector.
You will enter the park from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After driving through the Ishasha
sector to see the tree-climbing lions, continue on to the Mweya peninsula, the
center of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will spend the night and
have dinner.

4: Game drive and boat cruise
Game drive and boat cruise: Following
breakfast, take a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Kasenyi Plains to
observe a variety of wildlife species grazing in the savanna grassland. Following
lunch at the resort, take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, which is more
exciting because it offers a chance to see crocodiles, hippos, water birds, and
several other wildlife species grazing along the channel’s borders.

arrive, and you can either relax in the evening or add some adventure to your
honeymoon by visiting the crater lakes.

6: Chimpanzee trekking/Habituation
Trekking with Kibale Chimpanzees:
Following breakfast, you will go to the Kanyanchu for a briefing on chimpanzee
trekking before entering the Kibale jungle to hike habituated chimpanzees.
Since the forest is home to 13 different species of primates, including
monkeys, baboons, and numerous bird species, you will see more than simply
chimpanzees. Following your chimpanzee hike, you can choose to spend a
leisurely evening or embark on a guided nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland
Sanctuary, a stunning location for those who enjoy birds and plants.

Day
7: Transfer to Jinja and visit source of the Nile
Jinja’s Kibale Forest National Park
When you visit the source of the Nile, you will get up early, eat breakfast,
and then depart the lodge to meet your safari driver. From there, you will
drive to Kampala, where you will meet Jinja. Depending on when you arrive, you
will visit the Nile’s source and have a sunset boat ride down the river before
checking into your hotel for dinner and the night.

8: White water rafting and transfer to Entebbe
White water rafting: After breakfast

your resort to change before being taken to Entebbe, where you will spend the
final days of your ten-day honeymoon safari in Uganda before leaving.

Entebbe botanical: Following a
leisurely breakfast, you begin your journey south of Entebbe for Mabamba Swamp.
You might see birds along the way. When you get to Mabamba, you’ll get off of
the tiny boat to look for rare shoebill stock, Jacana, marsh harrier, African
Pygmy goose, and whistling ducts. Hopefully, you’ll have seen the huge shoebill
stock and a variety of other aquatic species. Following lunch, you will have a
nature walk around the stunning botanical gardens, which are home to a wide
range of plant and mammal species that are well worth seeing. Return to the
lodge later in the evening for dinner and the night.

have lunch, freshen up, and then be driven to Entebbe International Airport for
departures.
