Overview

Day 1: Arrival for Best of Uganda Safari
At the
Entebbe Airport, our amiable guide will greet you and take you to your Kampala
or Entebbe hotel. Savor the crisp air from the world’s second-largest lake,

Day 2: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino
Sanctuary
Before
leaving for Murchison Falls National Park, get an early breakfast. With a
stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos, the trip is a spectacular
excursion.
Continue
on to Murchison Falls and climb to the summit of the falls, where you can
witness the Nile’s thunderous descent as it is forced through a 7-meter cleft.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park Game
Drive
The
largest park in Uganda that provides satisfying game viewing is Murchison Falls
National Park. We will begin the day with a game drive on the northern bank of
the Nile River following an early breakfast. Watch for various bird species,
buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, hartebeests, leopards, and lions.
Seeing
wild animals in their natural habitat while they play, feed, and guard their
young is truly a privilege. The safari will continue on the Nile River in the
afternoon. There are more chances to see a range of animals and birds on the
leisurely boat safari. Observe the water at the “devils cauldron,”
the Murchison Falls. In all of Africa, only Uganda offers this type of boat
excursion.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National
Park
We will
travel to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of East Africa, today to
visit the chimpanzees’ home. Chimpanzee tracking is the primary attraction at
Kibale Forest, which is home to thirteen different species of primates. As you
travel through tiny towns, local marketplaces, and a variety of wildlife, you
will be treated to breathtaking views. This is a day excursion that includes
lunch, or stops in a town along the way.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
National Park
East
Africa’s primate capital is Kibale National Park. Trekking with chimpanzees is
a rewarding experience that transports you across streams of water deep within
the tropical jungle. Additionally, you might see butterflies, birds shouting
from the canopies, red-tailed monkeys, and black and white Columbus monkeys.
You will be able to find the chimps with the aid of your guide. Savor photo
opportunities and observe them while they play and eat. Depending on time,
visit Bigodi Village and the swamp, which is home to a wide variety of birds
and primates, after lunch.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National
Park
Following
breakfast this morning, we continue our excursion to Queen Elizabeth National
Park. On the way, take in vistas of the mysterious Rwenzori Mountain Ranges and
a number of crater lakes. We’ll do a quick game drive when we get to the park
before heading to the resort for lunch and a Kazinga Channel boat ride. With
plenty of wildlife along the shoreline, including crocodiles, elephants, and
birds, the boat safari offers you leisurely photo opportunities.

Day 7: Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth
National Park
As their
day begins, the animals in their various families, clans, and groupings go
forth. Take note of the differences between zoo animals and those in their
natural habitat. Take an open-roof safari vehicle wildlife drive in the Kasenyi
plains. Travel to Ishasha, which is well-known for its tree-climbing lions, and
use rangers to look for them. There will be a picnic or lodge lunch.

Day 8: Expedition to Bwindi Impenetrable
Forest National Park
Our
journey to Bwindi, the home of the gentle giants, will begin today. We travel
through the Kigezi Highlands on this rewarding adventure, which offers
breathtaking views of terraced hills. Depending on when you arrive, lunch will
either be at the resort or along the road. You’ll stay in the impassable forest
or adapt to it. As you get ready for the walk the next day, this will provide
you with excellent rest.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Uganda
Meeting
the gentle giants of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will be the highlight of
your safari! Savor the abundance of life in the impenetrable forest, which is
home to numerous bird, butterfly, ape, and mammal species. Ultimately, with the
assistance of your park ranger guide. You will have the opportunity to see the
rare and massive mountain gorillas up close. The duration of the trekking
experience ranges from one hour (occasionally) to almost eight hours. But you
only get to spend an hour with gorillas, so you have to make the most of it.
For individuals who are not interested in following gorillas, a short guided
woodland trek or a community village walk are recommended activities.

Day 10: Golden Monkey trekking in Mgahinga

Drive
from Bwindi to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in the early morning. The drive
takes roughly two hours. Go trekking with golden monkeys. Trekking through the
rainforests of Mgahinga National Park, which are covered with bamboo and a
variety of native plants including gigantic lobelia, will introduce you to the
golden monkeys, an endemic species of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in
southwest Uganda. During the journey, your ranger guide will provide you with
information on the history of the national park as well as the plants and
animals that can be found there. The hike takes two to three hours. Return to
the lodging you have reserved for the night.

Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park for
Wildlife
Beautiful
farms, plantations, and sceneries may be found on the way to Lake Mburo
National Park. Visit a cultural museum that showcases the way of life of the
local indigenous population. Stop at a restaurant along the way for lunch or a
picnic. Later the afternoon, arrive at the park and go on a Lake Mburo boat
ride.

Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe
We will
take a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park following an early breakfast.
After that, we’ll go to Entebbe, stopping along the renowned Equator line.
After lunch, head to the airport, where you will arrive in the afternoon.
